Three founders provide strategic direction and oversee board-level decisions. Day-to-day operations are led by the Executive Director, while the entire team works together as a cohesive, high-functioning unit. Below are the team members and links to their published work.
Founders
Danyal Bakht
Dr. Danyal Bakht is a graduate of King Edward Medical University, Lahore, and an MBBS Gold Medalist who co-founded ARCH. He has authored over 40 PubMed-indexed full-text articles, with more than 300 citations, and his research spans internal medicine and cardiology.
Maaz amir
A physician and research mentor, Dr. Maaz Bin Amir graduated from King Edward Medical University, Lahore, with an MBBS degree and 8 distinctions across multiple basic and clinical subjects. Alongside his medical journey, he has built an extensive research portfolio of over 35 pubmed indexed publications. His work has been presented in leading journals including Circulation, JACC, and JSCAI. He has been awarded Dr Sajjad Hamdani Undergraduate Research Award by King Edward Medical University. Beyond his own research output, Dr. Maaz has mentored more than 100 early-career researchers through systematic reviews and meta-analyses, guiding them from title selection through to publication. He co-founded ARCH to extend that mentorship at scale — training the next generation of health sciences researchers.
Muhammad arham
Dr. Muhammad Arham is an MBBS graduate with 2 honors and 2 distinctions and a USMLE aspirant with a strong focus on cardiology and clinical research. He has co-authored 30+ peer-reviewed publications, with hands-on expertise in R, Stata, and Bayesian statistical methods. He currently leads PULSE Cardiology, an academic research group he founded, and previously served as META Lead for the international SHORE Research Team. His team’s research poster received first prize at the Brooklyn Psychiatry Society 2026 Residents’ Poster Session.
